He is survived by: his parent Margaret Hayward (Kerton); his wife Ruby Hayward (Beattie); his son Barry Hayward of Emsdale, ON; his grandchildren, Brendan Hayward and Leslie Hayward; his brothers, George Hayward (Ardean) and Ernest Newhook; and also Crystal Aiken (Jude). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
