She was predeceased by: her siblings-in-law, Robert Martel (Madeleine) and Desneiges Amyot (late Edgar); and her parents, André Meilleur and Delima Meilleur. She is survived by: her husband Maurice Martel; her children, Paul Martel (Sandra) and Claude Martel (Adele); her granddaughter Melanie (Sylvain Leduc); her siblings, Rhéal Meilleur (late Jaqueline), René Meilleur (Noëlla), Denise Charron (late Paul) and Yvette Jerome (late André); and her siblings-in-law, Fernand Martel (Louise), Aline Rozon (late René), Claire Rozon (late Maurice) and Pauline Desnoyers (late Marcel). She is also survived by many family members and friends.

Donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute or to Breast Cancer Canada would be appreciated by the family.
