Stephen Anthony Horenberg Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2025, at the age of 65, Stephen Anthony Horenberg of Embro, Ontario passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Stephen Anthony Horenberg to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonius Horenberg and Gerritdina Horenberg; and his parents-in-law, Theodore and Elizabeth Vink. He is survived by: his wife Mary (Vink); his son Matthew (Megan); his grandchildren, Brooke, Aubrey, Marcus, Julia and David (Jennifer); his children, Olivia, Levi and Peter (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Malakai and Nalani; his son Kevin (Jaclyn); his grandchildren, Landon, Claire and Colton; his daughter Stephanie Deitner (Francis); his grandchildren, Isla, Oscar and Oliver; his child Thomas (Valerie); his grandson Dominic; his daughter Marissa Horenberg; and his siblings, Agnes Nyland (Andrew) and Paul Horenberg (Jane). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the W. G. Young Funeral Home (430 Huron St, Stratford, ON N5A5T7). A vigil service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mary Parish (149 King St N, St. Marys, ON N4X1C3).

Memorial donations in Stephen's memory may be made to Stratford and District Right to Life, Stepping up For St. Joseph's Church or the Canadian Cancer Society.
