She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Farquhar and George Farquhar of Elora, Ontario.. She is survived by: her husband Peter Israel; her children, Brad (Anne), Jennifer (Bill) and Janet (Richard); and her grandchildren, Meghan, Zachary, Michael, Liam and Callum.
