He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Finlayson; his parents, Dan and Margaret; and his brothers, Frank (Beth), Cyril, Art, Alexander and Reginald.
He is survived by: his children, Gerald (Rosemary), Brian (Lisa), John and Helen (Steve); his siblings, Gerald (Marylou) of Reserve Mines, Marie of Boston, Helen (David MacNeil) of Glace Bay and Jane of Reserve Mines; and his sister-in-law Ursula.
