George Strachan Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Strachan of Elora, Ontario, who passed away on October 23, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandson Matthew; and his siblings, Evelyn Mackenzie and Harvey Strachan of Scotland. He is survived by: his wife Agnes Strachan (Gammie); his children, Patricia Strachan, Rob Robson of Dundas, Brenda, Dave Holliday of Mount Forest, Ian and Amy Strachan of Elora; his grandchildren, Ryan (Caroline), Ben (Sarah), Leah (Jay), Graham, Alex (Candace) and Andrew; his great grandchildren, Shae, Callum, Louie, Adrienne, Mya, Max, Emersyn and Lilly; his sister Joy Murray of England; and his extended Gammie.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Louise Marshall Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society.
