He was predeceased by: his daughter Bonnie (JP Dupius); his wife Joan; his daughter Mary; his parents, Bruce Herron and Maude Herron; and his sister Viona (Gordon Harrison).

He is survived by: his children, Barbara Feil (Tim), Bruce (Barbara), Beverly O'Neill (Steve) and Brian (Sandy); and his brother Gilbert.
