He was predeceased by: his father Grant Giesel; his brother Johnny; and his grandparents, Walter, Gretel Giesel, John and Elizabeth Schenk.
He is survived by: his son Tyler (Alicia Savage); his mother Ann Giesel; his siblings, Jim Giesel (Diane), Jeff Giesel and Sandra Lynn Giesel; his nieces and nephews, Victoria, Tavis, Nicole, Chelsea, Tom and Carly; and his great-niece Summer. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
As Eric was a proud and longstanding member of the Elora Legion, donations in his memory may be made to Branch 229, and are much appreciated by his family.
