Douglas George Hill Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 5, 2025, at the age of 87, Douglas George Hill (Elora, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his significant other Bonnie; and his parents, Joseph and Florence. He is survived by: his son James; his siblings, Harvey (Bernice), Bob (Betty), Marie Fitzpatrick (Bob) and Doreen Morden (Earl); his daughters, Carolyn and Lori; his son-in-law Chris; his grandchildren, Matthew, Kate, Dustin and Ryan; his great grandchildren, James and Lillian; and his brother Fred (Wendy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hope Springs United Church (75 Geddes St, Elora, ON N0B1S0).
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Doug may be made to the Centre Wellington Food Bank or to Operation Smile, and are greatly appreciated by his family.
