She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Schumann and Magda Schumann; and her brother Karl. She is survived by: her husband Kurt; her children, Bryan (Helen), Stephan (Susan), Rita (John) and Carmen (Allan); her grandchildren, Melinda (David), Lauren, Melanie, Kurt (Alix), Christopher, Allison, Ireland, Daniel and Artemis; her sister Karin; and her friend Katie White.
