We are sad to announce that on March 1, 2022, Elgin Monk of Elmwood, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Monk and Sybilla Monk (Yandt); his sons, Brian, Bradley, Glenn (Erin Kelly-Lafortune) of Port Elgin and Gary (Russell Shivas) of Toronto; his sister Eleanor Ellis of Brantford; his daughter-in-law Mary Monk; and his sister Marjorie Weitendorf (Arnold).

He is survived by: his wife Pearl (Kaufman); his children, Brad (Karen) of Stoney Plain and Alberta; his grandchildren, Nathan, Wesley, Shelby, Tyler and Jesse; and his great grandchildren, Kail, Damian, Jake and Paislee.

Masks are mandatory.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Alzheimer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
