He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Cora Dey (Shelp); his siblings, George, Jim, Grant and Gladys; and his children, Judy (Ross Graham), Susan (Dan Wallace) and Robin. He was also cherished by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada or to the Perley and Rideau Veterans' Health Centre would be greatly appreciated by the family.
