He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Pat Thomas; his children, Sharon Miller (Kim), Janice Gendron (late Michel) and Michele Shackleton (Michael); his grandchildren, Michael (Jeralynn), Matthew (Heather), Christian (Melissa), Jason, Bryan (Courtney), Adam (Delaine) and Daniel; his great grandchildren, Kenzie, Maggie, Drew, Lucas, Bennett, Kennedy and Mick; his sister Dorothy Higgins (late Clare); and his siblings-in-law, Merna Dack (late John) and Murray Robinson (late Jackie). He was also cherished by his nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Georgian Bay General Hospital in Midland would be appreciated by the family.
