He was predeceased by: his parent Pearl Johnston; and his sibling Mervin. He is survived by: his spouse Jean Muriwske; his children, Terry, McKinney, Lura Muriwske, David Johnston (Sheila Brown) and Susan Gilbert (Paul Fournier); his grandchildren, Shannon, Brandon, Christina, Johnny and Charity; his great grandchildren, Allie, Maria and Luca; his parent Joe Johnston; and his siblings, Agnes Cah, James, Iva and Velma.
