She was predeceased by: her husband Cornelius Vander Poel; her grandson Benjamin; and her son-in-law David Wilson. She is survived by: her daughters, Catherine of Calgary, Laurine (Pierre Moreau) of Penetanguishene and Theresa (Jim McArthur) of Victoria Harbour; and her siblings-in-law, Winy VanderPoel, Coby Streng and Harry. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
