He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sheena; his daughters, Skye and Scotia; his parents, Carrie Nesbitt and Clinton Nesbitt of Elmvale; his siblings, Joanne Potts (Cal), Jim Nesbitt (Heather), Andy Kirk (Debbie) and Julia Kirk; and also, Bobby Kirk and Jane Kirk of Newtonmore. He was also cherished by his many nieces and nephews, cousins, inlaws, friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations are welcomed in Jeffrey's memory to the Transplant Unit at Toronto General Hospital or the Canadian Liver Foundation.
