It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Earl Jones (Elmvale, Ontario), who passed away on August 24, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Kimberley; and his siblings, Rilla and Diane Bewick (James). He is survived by: his wife Myrna Jones; his children, Michelle Axford (Mike) of Australia, Steven Jones (Yvonne) of Vasey, Kevin Jones (Carolyn) of Vasey and Leonard; his grandchildren, Justin, Tyler, Andrea, Christopher, Michael, Andrew, Luke, Carina, Landry, Grace, Clara and Gavin; his siblings, Donne Jones, Patsy Graham (late Ron) and Waples; his parents-in-law, Charles and Lena Simpson of Oro Township; and his siblings-in-law, Wayne Simpson (Elaine), Brian Simpson (late Joy), Brenda Hyatt (Elgin), Goody (Chris) and Glenn Simpson (Michelle). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews, neighbours, and friends.
Memorial donations to Unity United Church or the Stewart L Page Scholarship Fund (since 1925) supporting first year university students pursuing an agriculture education would be appreciated by the family.
