She was predeceased by: her husband Eric Buchanan; and her brother Lorne Carruthers. She is survived by: her children, Karen Locke (Brian) of Elmvale, Kim Nelson (Brian) of Elmvale and Chris (Corrine) of Elmvale; her grandchildren, Spencer (Laura), Emily, Taylor, Brooke, Hannah and Evan; and her brother Cleon Carruthers (Dale). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
