As we bid adieu to Erna's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Erna has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Heinrich Sommerfeld and Anna Sommerfeld; her brother Kurt; her children, Margot and Frank; her grandsons, Matthew and Mark; and her great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Khloe. She was also cherished by her loving family and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Waterloo-Wellington would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
