Yvonne Bene Obituary

She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Bene (Joe); her parents, Léo Arthur Ménard and Aurore Stella Ménard; and her parents-in-law, George and Elise Bene.

She is survived by: her partner Real Paquette; her siblings, Doris (Doreen), Merkas (late Walter) of Garson and Marie-Paule Roberge (late Roland) of Elliot Lake; her children, Sharon-Aurore Bene of Selkirk, Brian Bene of Sudbury, Joanne Dowdall (Gary) of Worthington, Robert Bene of Sault Ste, Marie, Daniel Bene (Kelly) of Marathon and Dennis Bene (Mae) of Brampton; and her grandchildren, Jason, David Jr. (Laura), Shane (Angela), Michael (Kim), Cristian, Shanda-Lee (Dustin), Brandon (Annie Lyne), Samuel, Daniel Jr. (Ashley), Austin, Kassandra, Kara, Matthew, Tyler and Vanessa. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-laws and brothers-in-laws.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Paroisse Ste. Bernadette Parish (45 Spruce Ave, Elliot Lake, ON P5A2B7).

Memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society, Huron Lodge or St. Joseph's Foundation of Elliot Lake would be appreciated by the family.
