With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald Louis Lafontaine (Elliot Lake, Ontario), born in Québec, Québec, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 29, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Ronald farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Ronald is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Brigitte Lafontaine and Mathias Lafontaine; and his siblings, Donald (Sandra) of St Catherine, Gerry (Carole) of Barrie, Colette, Huguette (late Jean Claude) and Lisette (late Raynald).

He is survived by: his caregiver Nicole Lafontaine of Elliot Lake; and his siblings, Marie-Anne Lafontaine, Claire Lemieux of Sturgeon Falls and Jean-Guy Lafontaine (Lise) of Elliot Lake. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and so many friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Heart and Stroke and Huron Lodge Elliot Lake would be appreciated.
