He was predeceased by: his sister Connie (Hugo Bart). He is survived by: his spouse Josiane Hardy Belder of Elliot Lake; his children, Brian Belder (Dana) of Niagara Falls and Leslie Belder of Niagara Falls; his stepdaughter Christine Michaux (Eric) of Belgium; his stepgrandchildren, Mathilde Lancelle (Thomas), Gauthier Lancelle, Alice and Jimmy; his stepgreat-grandchild Éléonore; and his brother Leo Belder (Béa) of Holland. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions to the Society for Animals in Distress would be appreciated by the family.
