He was predeceased by: his stepson Stephen Wortman (Judy). He is survived by: his wife Viola Elizabeth Metherel; his children, Delbert Metherel (Dawn), Gerald Metherel (Barb) and Linda Dunn (Jim); and his stepchildren, Donald Wortman (Alice), Velma Wortman (Harold), Diane Holley (Art), Greg Wortman (Francine), Gary Wortman and Mariel McArthur (Chris). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
