He was predeceased by: his parents, William Vandersluys and Jean Vandersluys; his sister Connie; and his wife June Vandersluys. He is survived by: his daughter Susan Miller of Burlington; his grandsons, Michael Miller (Cindy) of Hamilton and Ian Miller (Heather) of Courtice; and his great grandchildren, Harper and Sawyer.
