She was predeceased by: her husband Allen Moroughan; her brother Joseph Mainse; and her grandson Aaron Machan. She is survived by: her daughter Anne Machan (Stuart) of Elgin; her siblings, Barbara Corkum (Owen) of Mississauga, Malcolm Mainse (Karen) of Seeley's Bay, Marion Newberry of Trenton, Kenneth Mainse (Bonnie) of Lyndhurst and Norma Leakey (John) of Prince Rupert, B. C; her grandsons, Stephen (Mila) and Justin Machan (Rebecca); and her great grandchildren, Kajsa, Mason, Reese and Jack. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Scotland Funeral Home (27 Main St, Elgin, ON K0G 1E0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Scotland Funeral Home Chapel (27 Main St, Elgin, ON K0G 1E0).
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to Lillies Baptist Cemetery or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
