He was predeceased by: his wife Sylvia Gard (Warren); his children, Jake (Tanya), Cyndy (Dan) and Sheryl (Shawn); his siblings, Mervin (Bea), Shirley (Paul), Wayne (Donna), Sharon (Bill), Allen and Lawrence; his parents, Borden Gard and Sara Gard; his in-laws, Helen and Ken Warren; and his sister-in-law Judy (late Lou).
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jamie Lynn, Hunter, Sierra, Johnathan (Charlette) and Josh; his great grandchildren, Preslei, Ryder, Mylah and Jordan; and his siblings-in-law, Gary (late Rose) and Caroline (Philip). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
