The passing of Donald Joseph Upshall of Egmondville, Ontario, born in Seaforth, Ontario leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 25, 2025 at the age of 75. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Upshall and Mary Jane Upshall (McDougall); his siblings, Grace (Wilmer Adkins), Jack (Marg Upshall), Elaine (Don Harburn) and Doug Upshall; and his uncle Jim McDougall.
He is survived by: his wife Betty (Shea); his children, Dan (Theresa Upshall), Trudy (Greg Ryan) and Mark Upshall (Michelle Murray); his grandchildren, Rachel, Dave Leslie, Morgan Upshall, Keith Poortinga, Sarah Upshall, Evan Plunkett and Amber Ryan; his brother Bob; and his sister-in-law Faye Upshall (Doug). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Haskett Funeral Home (87 Goderich St W, Seaforth, ON N0K1W0). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Seaforth Legion (123 Main St S, Seaforth, ON N0K1W0). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society Huron Perth or Seaforth Community Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
