He was predeceased by: his parents, James Upshall and Mary Jane Upshall (McDougall); his siblings, Grace (Wilmer Adkins), Jack (Marg Upshall), Elaine (Don Harburn) and Doug Upshall; and his uncle Jim McDougall.
He is survived by: his wife Betty (Shea); his children, Dan (Theresa Upshall), Trudy (Greg Ryan) and Mark Upshall (Michelle Murray); his grandchildren, Rachel, Dave Leslie, Morgan Upshall, Keith Poortinga, Sarah Upshall, Evan Plunkett and Amber Ryan; his brother Bob; and his sister-in-law Faye Upshall (Doug). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society Huron Perth or Seaforth Community Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
