It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Garfield Schroeder of Eganville, Ontario, who passed away at the age of 81, on November 2, 2024. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorne Schroeder and Viola Thom; his brothers, Ormal and Elroy; his son John Timothy; and his grandson Nicolas.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy (Aubrey); his children, Rick (Cathy) of Pembroke, Jeff (Jen) of Kitchener, Kim (Pete) of Braeside and Paula of Ottawa; his grandchildren, Sam (Kait), Enya, Sophie, Elizabeth, Max, Leah, Christopher, Emily and Hannah; his great grandchild Joey; his siblings, Calvin (Theresa) and Marilyn (Barry); and his siblings-in-law, Bernadette Parker and Bill Aubrey (Susan). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Zohr Family Funeral Home - Eganville (194 Jane St, Eganville, ON K0J1T0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Salem Evangelical Missionary Church (7 Crimson Maple Rd, Eganville, ON K0J1T0). A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at the Salem Evangelical Missionary Cemetery (1040 Silver Lake Rd, Bonnechere Valley, ON K0J1T0).
