She was predeceased by: her parents, Mike Crate and Janet Crate; and her siblings, Grenville, Michael, Annie and Dorothy.

She is survived by: her husband Ray Thiessen; her children, Joyce (Faron), Raymond, Robert, Roger, Ronald (Laura), Judy (Chris) and Janice (Paul); her grandchildren, Carmen (Colin), Stephanie (Peter), Ryan, Justin, Ben, Adam, Taylor, Paige, Jessica and Christine; and her great grandchildren, Hailey, Carsyn and Jacob. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
