He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernest Melanson and Genereuse Melanson; his wife Louise Caithcart; and his brothers, Roger, Stan, Sceptre Dredging and Griffith. He was also cherished by children, five Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.
