He was predeceased by: his wife Eileen Heard; and his parents, Lloyd Heard and Elva Heard. He is survived by: his children, Ed (Brenda) and Sue (Graham); his grandchildren, Alexis, Christopher and Jacob; and his brother Dwight Heard. He is also survived by his friends and family.
