He was predeceased by: his brother Bob; and his parents, Florence Pretty and Melvin Pretty. He is survived by: his wife Anne Marie; his children, Wendy Dakins (Edmund) of Pefferlaw and Shawn Pretty of Novar; his grandchildren, Jocelyn Marie of Pefferlaw and Kaylie Elizabeth (Kevin Campbell) of Brantford; his great grandchild Kaden; his siblings, Carol Ann Beatty of Niagara Falls and Donald (Cheryl) of Strathroy; and his sister-in-law Elaine of Niagara Falls. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

Memorial donations to Soldiers Memorial Hospital Foundation, Dialysis Unit would be appreciated by the family.
