He was predeceased by: his parents, George McQuarrie and Agnes McQuarrie; his siblings, Herb (Una McQuarrie), Gladys (Cecil Atkinson), Anna (Calvin Hogg), George (Dorothy McQuarrie), Norman (Roxanne McQuarrie), Margaret (Bob Barker) and Garnet McQuarrie; and his nephews, Donald Barker and Gerald McQuarrie.

He is survived by: his sister-in-law Jean McQuarrie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
