It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dagmar Judith Beck (Dutton, Ontario), born in Copper Cliff, Ontario, who passed away on May 25, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Alfred Eric Beck; her parents, Helmi Kauppi and Walter Kauppi; her siblings, Oliver Kauppi (Laila) of Sudbury, Helen Gondor (Norm) of Cambridge and Laila Saarela (Urho) of Finland; her parents-in-law, Edla and Eric Beck of Wahnapitae; and her siblings-in-law, Alice Pardu of Mississauga, Karl Beck (Aino) of Sudbury and Anja Charsley of Sudbury.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Beck (Joanne) of Hamilton, David Beck (Norma) of Sudbury, Donald Beck (Suzanne) of Dowling and Karen Shiells (Tim Warden) of Shedden; her grandchildren, Kaili (Paul), Nina (Keith), Miranda (Andrew), Lynn-Marie (Rob) and Richard (Emilie); and her great grandchildren, Cameron, Christian, Emma, Kiera, Branden, Hayden, Tristen and Zoe.
Due to Covid-19 virus, a memorial service will be held at a later date at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Sudbury.
In lieu of flowers, the funeral home will be accepting donations to Redeemer Lutheran Church in Sudbury, "Small Things CATS" of Sudbury, or your local pet rescue centre.
