We are sad to announce that on May 22, 2022, Marjorie Weir of Durham, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Weir; and her siblings, Elwood Kinsman (late Mamie), Mary Kinsman, Lloyd Kinsman (late Florence), Florence (late Frank Payne), Reta Woodcock, Clarence Kinsman (late Alma) and Verna (late John Lent).
She is survived by: her children, Shayron (Gordon Burt) of Toronto and Connie (Don Chapman) of Surrey, BC.; her grandson Jonathan Chapman of Kelowna, BC.; and her sister-in-law Isabelle Rowbottom. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews and friends.
A funeral service celebrating Marjorie's life will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home on Friday, May 27th at 1 p. m., with visitation prior to the service from 11:30 a. m. - 12:45 p. m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Durham Baptist Church or Abbeyfield Houses Society of Durham would be appreciated by the family.
