He was predeceased by: his wife Judith Van Geem; and his sister Joan Klaas. He is survived by: his children, David Van Geem (Lisa) of Stokes Bay, Stephanie (David Seeley) of Durham, Geoffrey Van Geem (Stefanie) of Durham and Brian Van Geem (Cathy) of Durham; and his siblings-in-law, Gail and Ken McEwen of Parry Sound. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren and his many nieces and nephews.
