With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John W. Atkinson (Durham, Ontario), who passed away on February 11, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Atkinson and Aveon Atkinson-Reay; his stepfather Albert Reay; and his sisters-in-law, Marion Atkinson and Heather Atkinson.
He is survived by: his spouse Tracy-Lynn Schaus-Atkinson; his children, Shirley Anne (Steve Lair), John Atkinson (Megan), Bill Atkinson, Zakk Atkinson (Ashley), Jarrett Atkinson and Clarissa Atkinson; and his siblings, Shirley Atkinson, Bruce Atkinson (Alice), George Atkinson (Carol), David Atkinson, Jim Atkinson (Marg) and Ellen (Ken Russwurm). He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
