He was predeceased by: his sons, Richard, Doug and Mark; his parents, Clarence "Pete" Kennedy and D. Madeline Kennedy; his sisters, Marlene Kennedy (Brenda) and Carol Falkingham; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Hicks, Howard Payne, Jr. and Brenda.

He is survived by: his wife Greta; his daughters, Sharon Kennedy and Dawn Kennedy (Mark); his grandchildren, Rylee, Cayley, Courtney and MacKenzie; his great grandchildren, Sophia, Gwen, Abby, Sydney, Brook, Colson, Bailey and Camden; his siblings, Tom Kennedy (Margaret), Judith Doer (Bob), John Kennedy, Phyllis Barnes (Wayne), Barb Hicks, Roger Kennedy, Michael Reeves (Sue), Kim Storrey and Kristine Pratt (Richard); and his brothers-in-law, Don Falkingham, Harold Hazell (Carol) and Grant Payne (Cindy).
