We are sad to announce that on November 4, 2024, Elinor MacEachern of Durham, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son George; her siblings, Clive Elvidge, Patti, John McCulloch, Audrey and Dennis Domm; her parents, Harold Crow and Pearl Crow; and her parents-in-law, Donald and Beatrice MacEachern.
She is survived by: her husband Murray MacEachern; her children, Margaret (Dave Echlin), Rob MacEachern (Jackie) and Kathy (Tony Curtis); her grandchildren, Amanda Echlin, Shannon Mulville, Alanna, Cory Tucker, Janelle, Pat Shakell, Jaleh, John Nesbitt, Jodie, Lynn Givens, Jillian MacEachern, Levi Bates, Jasper and Sion Murphy; her great grandchildren, Paisley, Madelynn, Lilly, Ethan, Eddie, Jackson, McCullough, Bryson, Brinley, Beckett, Payton, Colt and Fallon; her sister Liz; and her siblings-in-law, Ron, Ellenor MacEachern, Eleanor, Warren Wolfe, Joan and Joe Adam.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home (166 Bruce St N, Durham, ON N0G 1R0). A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Durham Community Centre (451 Saddler St W, Durham, ON N0G1R0).
