He was predeceased by : his parents, Antal Szilassy and Erzsebet Szilassy; his brother Bill Szilassy (Kathleen); and his cousins, Elmer Szabo (Olga), John Szabo and Thelma Duxbury (Harold). He is survived by : his nieces, Elizabeth "Betty" Szilassy of Brazil and Margaret Szilassy (Alan Krueger) of Ilderton; his great-nieces, Annie Krueger and Kyra Krueger; and his cousin Wanda Szabo of Hanover.
