He was predeceased by: his wife Bonita "Bonnie" Mollison; his grandson James David; and his sister Freya Paul. He is survived by: his children, Cheri, Kim (Jeff) and Michelle; his grandchildren, Taylor (Fin), Tara (Cat), Cierra, Jenna (Jordan) and Anna; his great grandchildren, Kayli and Riley; his sister Evelyn Webb; and his brother-in-law Ted Paul.

A come and go celebration of David's life will be held at the Durham Legion, 271 Bruce Street North, Durham on Sunday, December 1st from 1 – 5 p.m., with tributes being shared at 2 p.m. Donations: As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
