She was predeceased by: her husband Alex Smith; her son Donnie; her grandsons, Thomas Smith and Ben Foster; her daughter-in-law Linda Smith; and her siblings, Vera Ganton, Dorothy McKinnon, Lorne Hiltz, Leona Watson, Eleanor Clydesdale, Earl Hiltz, Emerson Hiltz and Ken Hiltz.

She is survived by: her children, Ann (Lorne Foster), Trudi (Rey Gagnon), Mary (Doug Hutchinson), Ruth (Ken Downs), Gord Smith (Vicki) and Bob Smith (Cathy); and her sisters, Elma Koertz, Velma McConnell and Betty Allen (Cliff). She is also survived by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
