He was predeceased by: his parents, William Elvidge and Dianna Elvidge; his brother-in-law Keith McDonald; and his parents-in-law, Bob and Ethel Beech.
He is survived by: his wife Marie; his children, Jill (Cody Schenk) and Dana (Trevor Speers); his grandchildren, Curtis Schenk (Bridgette), Rachel Schenk (Clayton), Ava Speers and Drew Speers; his nephew Rob Elvidge; and his siblings, Ken Elvidge, Rose, Narcia Watson, Russell, Kathy McDonald-Gies and Arnold.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 308 (271 Bruce St N, Durham, ON N0G1R0). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Durham Legion (271 Bruce St N, Durham, ON N0G1R0).
