Barry McCormick Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 6, 2022, Barry McCormick (Durham, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent and Marie; and his siblings, James, Hugh, Terry, Rita, Kathleen and Peter.

He is survived by: his wife Phyllis McCormick; his children, Shannon (Mike Seifried), Meghan (Shawn Coulter), Rachel (Lee Watson), Tiffany (Nicholas Kelly), Emily (Howard Mattis) and Jonathon (Lindsay); his grandchildren, Daniel, Madeline, Abbigail, Jeremy, Ainsley, Zoe, Collin, Everly, Logan, Lincoln, Theodore, Zarah, Zavian, Kayden, Kiyran and Mariah; and his siblings, Rose, William, Marilyn, Chris and Margaret. He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law.

Visitation will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Tuesday, May 10th from 5 – 9 p. m., where a vigil prayer service will be held at 8:45 p. m. Masks are recommended at the visitation, and we encourage you to confirm your attendance.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul or The Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.
