He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Yzerman and Marguerite Yzerman; his parents-in-law, Charles and Edna Foster; his grandchildren, Lucas Korten, Cassandra and Jessica Yzerman; his sisters, Beth Schooley and Bonnie MacLeod (Paul); and his brother-in-law Emile Beaulne.
He is survived by: his pets, Stanley and Luella; the father of his child William Yzerman (Theresa); his daughter Holly Korten (Gerald); his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Chelsea, Logan, Owen and Austin; his siblings, Bob Yzerman (Debbie), Barry Yzerman (Mary Jean) and Becky Beaulne; his brothers-in-law, Wayne Schooley and Albert Foster (Edna); and also, Joshua, Emily, Alexandria, Ben and Danielle. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews.
