He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Gains and Brock Gains; and his brothers, William and Doug. He is survived by: his wife Tina Gains; his daughters, Danielle (Laura), Madison (Michael) and Alison (Dalton); his grandchildren, Josiah, Hannah and April; his sister Anne Miron (Paul); his in-laws, Deanna and Gordon Dickhout; and his brother-in-law Barry (Claire).
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorial donations be made to the Walker Family Cancer Centre ~ Niagara Health Foundation.
