He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Karen Moerschfelder; his children, Scott Moerschfelder (Kelly), Jeffrey Moerschfelder, Breanne Moerschfelder and Tayler Wardell (Austin); his grandchildren, Brooklyn, Brynn, Daniel and Lainey; his parents, Floyd Moerschfelder and Carol Moerschfelder; and his uncle Fred. He was also cherished by his many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, brother and sister in laws.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to Canadian Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
