Ted Tilstra Obituary

We bid farewell to Ted Tilstra (Dunnville, Ontario), born in Brampton, Ontario, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 25, 2024 at the age of 68. Ted touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Tilstra and Elsie Tilstra; his niece Stacey Horinga; and his nephew Ryan Tilstra. He is survived by: his wife Karen Tilstra (Minor); his children, Glenn Tilstra (Michelle) and Kassi Feenstra (Derek); his grandchildren, Leo, Wesley Tilstra, Jax, Zoarin, Aisley and Milo Feenstra; his siblings, Margaret Elgersma (George), Betty Peterson (Howard), Sid Tilstra (Evelyn), Bruce Tilstra (Sarah), John Tilstra (Corinne), Don Tilstra (Jeanette) and Ann Horinga (Jake); his parents-in-law, Wayne and Margaret Minor of Canboro; and his siblings-in-law, Gerry Minor (Lynn), Robert Minor and Tim Minor (Peggy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bethel Christian Reformed Church (17 Robinson Rd, Dunnville, ON N1A2W1). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at the Woodlawn Cemetery (121 Robinson Rd, Dunnville, ON N1A2W1).
