He is survived by: his wife Jenny Elgersma; his children, Marlene, Ken Boerman, Luke, Eric, Michael, Olivia, Charles, Meghan Elgersma, Robert, Karen, Matt Kerkhof, Julie, Kevin Wierenga (Paisley), Selena, Jordan VanSoelen (Brooks), Melissa, Alex Van Ommen, Dwight, Boukje Elgersma, Greg Suk, Levi, Kyle, Caleb, Evan, Allora, Liliana, Stephen, Lauren Elgersma, Jacob, Lindsay Elgersma, John, Emma Elgersma, David, Rachel Elgersma (Fiance), Lydia, Zach Coolen, Amanda, Tom Draaistra, Alyssa Draaistra (Thomas), Ingrid, Daniel Gracey, Ruth Draaistra, Mark Draaistra, Anna, Jake Groen, Emily Draaistra and Laura Draaistra; and his siblings, Sylvia Damm, John (Lynne), Leo (Alice), Tina Kiers, Martha (Jake Elgersma), Jane (Dave Hadden), Raymond (Gerda) and Helen (Bryan Cowan).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Grace Reformed Church (514 George St, Dunnville, ON N1A2V3). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at the Woodlawn Cemetery (121 Robinson Rd, Dunnville, ON N1A2W1).
