He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvy Boyt and Nellie Boyt; his sister Marjorie Hopkins; his brother-in-law Delbert Hopkins; and also Delbert Hopkins.
He is survived by: his spouse Nancy; his children, Barbara Sorge (Harvey) and Karen Sorge (Craig); his grandchildren, Jessie and Jordon; his siblings, Betty Berlet, Jean Asher and Allen Asher; and also, Ken, Lorrie, Chris, Vicki, Shelby, Brodie, Short, Scoot, Shawn, Renee, Calvin and Morgan.
